Yesterday our team were fitting shutters in a converted pub on Anerley Hill. The conversion into residential dwellings had been completed recently and we were contacted by the new home owners to manufacture, supply and install made to measure shutters in their new property.
Because of the character of the building and the spacing of the windows the homeowner decided on a cafe style plantation shutter, providing plenty of privacy while leaving the half round above open and providing plenty of natural light. We installed a bi-folding panel system which allows the panels of the shutters to fold back neatly against the sides of each window so on a particularly bright day the whole lower floor can be flooded with light. To capture the spacious feel in the room, we used a pure white MDF shutter complete with a larger 76mm louvre to create a modern and trendy finish.
